Our Story

Crystal Ridge At Providence Stud, established in 1993, is a competitive equestrian center based in Benoni. We are a Christian yard and pride ourselves on our "family" atmosphere. Melise Etheridge is the yard owner and instructor, along with Melissa Smit as manager and student-instructor. Danica Etheridge is our excellent working rider, competing in Open Show Jumping. The yard offers outstanding 5-star facilities and we also host frequent shows, including our Equestrian Excellence Series. Crystal Ridge boasts of 25 years of great memories and has been the home of many great, successful horses and riders of all ages and levels.

WHAT IS PONY CAMP ALL ABOUT?

Bored at home during school holidays? Enrich your rider's equestrian education by sending them to our frequent and fun pony camps where we teach our riders proper stable management and loving horsemanship. Pony camps are run by Melissa, a former youth pastor and children's ministry coordinator. Book now!
